Francis A. Gaimari heads the firm's litigation group and has over 30 years experience of active civil litigation throughout the East Coast. As a practicing attorney, Mr. Gaimari specializes in representing medical providers in statutory claims against insurance carriers, and has the most experience of any attorney in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in this area. His appellate victories have literally set the law on PIP claims in the state making significant breakthroughs in cases to protect his clients.
He has been counsel in over sixty-five appellate decisions in Massachusetts and New Hampshire — many of which were groundbreaking in his area of law. He is still specializing in motor vehicle statutory law and working closely to protect clients of all types — hospitals, doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors and all medical providers.
Robert N. Fireman leads the real estate and corporate group and has over 25 years experience in all aspects of real estate development, financing, corporate collections and sales throughout the United States. As a practicing attorney, Mr. Fireman has assisted his clients in the formation and development of new businesses in a variety of different industries. He is an entrepreneur that enjoys the challenge of bringing new concepts and efficiencies to the marketplace. His clients include lenders, developers, management companies, corporations and consumers. Mr. Fireman has represented diverse clients — both well established and start-up companies — in all aspects of their corporate development and ongoing legal requirements.
Mr. Fireman was the founder of Consumer Card Marketing, the industry leader in the development of card based, stored value, loyalty and gift programs for retailers throughout the United States. As CEO of CCMI, Mr. Fireman became an expert in the use of technology, internet, and direct and database marketing. He is continuously on management teams for innovative projects and businesses like CCMI that think outside of the box.
His entrepreneurial nature and strong legal background are the keys to his success. Between his unparalleled experience in multiple legal areas and his fierce dedication to his practice, his accomplishments only seem to compound on themselves.
Mr. Fireman holds a B.A. from University of Wisconsin and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
Elizabeth H. Manos is the Senior Associate in the firm’s litigation group and has been with the firm since May 2006. Ms. Manos specializes in representing medical providers in contract claims against insurance companies and has obtained numerous verdicts for the firm’s clients at trial.
Ms. Manos received her Bachelor of Arts in French and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 1998, and her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in 2004. She was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in December 2004 and the Federal bar in July 2009.
Prior to joining the law firm, Ms. Manos worked as a law clerk for the criminal defense firm of Salsberg and Schneider, and represented indigent criminal defendants as a student attorney while interning with the Committee for Public Counsel Services.
Stephen B. Byers is a litigation associate specializing in resolving Personal Injury Protection (P.I.P.) claims on behalf of medical providers, and has been with the firm since 2007.
In 2003 Attorney Byers received a bachelor degree in the fields of English and Philosophy from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. He then moved to Boston and studied to obtain a Juris Doctor from the New England School of Law in 2006. He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar later that year.
Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a student attorney representing low income clients. This work involved family law cases as well as hearings with the Social Security Administration’s Office of Appeals. He also clerked for the Department of Revenue while in law school. In addition, Stephen is involved with the Boy Scouts of America and has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout
Ashley Kirsch has been an Associate in the firm since November 2010, and previously worked as a legal assistant with the firm since May 2009.
Ms. Kirsch received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Endicott College in 2007 graduating with honors. She was also inducted into Sigma Beta Delta the International Honor Society in Business, Management, and Administration where only the top 10% are invited to join. Ms. Kirsch received her law degree from New England School of Law, Boston in 2010. Ms. Kirsch was on the Dean’s List from 2008 to 2010. She was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in November 2010.
While in law school, Ms. Kirsch interned for the Honorable Judge Michael Kirby in the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans, Louisiana. Ms. Kirsch also served as a research assistant for law professor, Victor Hansen, in the writing of Understanding the Role of Military Lawyers in the War on Terror: A Response to the Perceived Crisis in Civil-Military Relations.
Ms. Kirsch is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association.
